~ Fenugreek has traditionally been used in Ayurvedic medicine as a galactagogue to boost the quality and quantity of breast milk in nursing mothers. Fenugreek fortifies the mothers milk with vitamins A, B1, B2, C, D, calcium and iron.
~ Shatavari has been used in Ayurveda to stimulate breast milk production, balance hormones after labour and acts as an antioxidant to suppport you through the postpartum weeks. Shatavari contains tryptophan, an essential amino acid that stimulates prolactin production in the pituitary gland, supporting the increase in milk production.
